All, I was just informed by Holset that they just released the part number for their 4" Cast Elbow that can be found on all H.O. and 600 series Cummins engines.
This elbow is the part that resides between the turbo and exhaust pipe.

P/N: 4035657

We should be able to call our local Dodge house and order it. I don't know the cost yet, but if someone happens to find out, please let us know.

Mine isn't 4" inside. There was some talk a while back where people were making their exhaust system a complete 4" system, but not replacing this elbow. You can get one from Banks, but it wasn't a cast piece. I think Banks makes theirs from aluminum and it costs I think around $200 bucks.

the so called 4" cast elbow on the HO
starts at nominal 4" at the turbo (not an inside dimension)
then necks down to about 3.5"nominal at the downpipe

I bought a banks downpipe which replaces the cast elbow and stock downpipe and is made of 4" 409 stainless tube (approx 3.8" inside)

when you buy 4" or 5" exhaust its always an outside dimension

most have 4" in and 3.5" out

that's how mine is....3.5" out. i was waiting for holset to come out with their p/n and then i was gonna think about going to a complete 4" exhaust.
i just called my dodge house and they didn't recognize the p/n. i guess it hasn't been flowed down to dodge yet.
anyway, i just thought i'd share the info for anyone looking for an alternative to banks.
