I want the following for an experiment on my truck:
4" downpipe
4" straight aluminized 6" length of pipe
4" 90 degree bend
resonator

I want to try and take my pipe out in front of the rear wheel, again as an experiment to delete the axle hump.
Most of all I want a 4" downpipe and cannot find a good supplier.
I can do all the welding etc myself and my geographical area is way limited.

Banks...true 4". I spliced one into my homemade 4".

yep... I did the same with the Banks DP..... I don't know what all the fuss is about price wise. My DP from Banks was 180.00 bucks. That's for a stainless pipe that a TRUE 4" off the back of the turbo..... That's a very reasonable price for thier DP if you ask me.

I ended up orderring some partsfrom a Co. called "bigexhausts.com". they have a down pipe that is 4" aluminized for 120.00 and I got a 90 degree and a 45 degree as well as a magnaflow "race muffler which was explained to me as pretty much a resonator. I am doing more or less (less if I like the outcome) an experiment to have 4" downpipe to a straight pipe to muffler to 90 degree and out just in front of the rear tire. I am not looking for any real performance gain although I have been told the 4" downpipe might lower EGT's a bit but just looking for something different???
