4" OR 5" STACKS ?

4" OR 5" STACKS ?
Would there be any benefit from either size or just looks and what happens to egt's with stacks over mbrp rep. muffler out the back in stock location and does anyone with stacks wish they did not do it ???

I have 5" stacks. They were on the truck when I bought it. The guy didn't do a great plumbing job... meaning, there's a 3" flex pipe connecting the 3" downpipe to the stack setup. My EGT's run pretty dang high, but that my be because of my set up and not the fault of the stacks.
For my .02, I would suggest that you go with 5 or 6" stacks. Stay away from 4"'s. They just dont' look as good. Especially on a big bodied truck like the 3rd gen.
I have heard good things about this guy for 6" complete set up's.

Ok 4"ers are out , My next question is does there have to be any backpressure at all I do have the cat on , Is that ok to support 5" or 6" and what kind of temp should I expect.
