4 or 5 inch exhaust

i am going to change the exhuast on my 04 and was wondering what is better 4 or 5 i like them loud and was told i would like the 5 inch sound can anyone else kinda pitch in thanks

The 5 is great in my opinion, but if you plan on keeping the truck stock or close to stock, I'd stay with a 4.

Where are you? If you're close to me (Yuma), I'll show you some 4" sound...

I've seen and heard both and in a few different configurations. 5 is a little deeper sounding to me.

Performance wise, 4" is good up to 600 or so HP, so I've read.

Personally I have a Corsa 4" and love it, no drone at all!

i from missouri dont think i very close to yuma i just tinker with it when i get extra money and keep adding stuff as of now its just edge with attittude and am figuring out whats next but got a good deal on some 5 inch so just thought i would try it out and see. I want a deep sound i think that sounds good.

MY 06 came with the 4" as a stock configuration. I recently changed to a 5" system and I love it. The sound is deeper than the 4" and my truck is running great.

What part of Missouri do you live in? i have the 5 inch exspandit(spelling) on my 06 that cam off my 09.I got the exhaust from James at rolling smoke diesel. I love the sound. If you are close enough i could let you hear mine.thanks Mopar72

go with a five, I have a four inch and am regretting it being i have modified my truck further now. Fyi the 04 already has a 3.5 to four inch exhaust so really all you would be upgrading is the down pipe and a few feet of exhaust by half an inch and swapping the muffler. just my 2 cents

have the 5" MBRP turbo back with 6" tip and love it sounds even better towing.
