3rd gen Max Flow
Finally.
This kit is 1/2" from the pusher pump to the injector pump.
It can be used with a Holley red, blue or black as well as any other pump.
I am fabricating a bracket that fits the tie down hole on the frame.
Its an oval plug with a bolt on it. Similar to what some folks are doing with a bolt and washers.
There will be three kits.
One will be the max flow lines, metric adapter and the aeroquip press on 1/2" fittings with the machined aluminum adpater to replace the factory pump. I attached a pic.
I have my prototype adapters at three machine shops to get quotes on them. Once I have this done, there will be pricing at
www.scottyairsystems.com
The kits and the Scotty Air Systems will also be available through a dealer network that will be on the Scotty site very soon.
Also, these products will be in the DTR online store!
The fuel hose I am using is the very best rubber Aeroquip hose.
This hose is actually more money then the braided teflon hose used in the 2nd gen kit. Plus it does not puncture your hand.

Here is a picture of both kits with the pump adapter.

Yes it will allow one to use the factory filter housing/heater.

Does this adapter replace the stock lift pump on the filter housing?

While Scott is testing with the Holley Blue pump, I'll be running PE's new 4300 (in September, when they're released).

Do you have a lead time on the stock pump eliminator fitting? Also, what do you consider safe fuel pressures to feed the CP-3? Would 16 to 18 be too much over the long run?

I should have quotes from the machine shops on Monday.
The Holley Blue [I prefer this pump] will run about 13 psi.
As far as I can tell, high pressure is not as important as constant volume. After some miles are logged I may have a different view...its strange how the Carters that are out there as pushers work real well and then start spiking the pressures after some power/demand is thrown at them.

Allow me to ask the dumb question since I'm so good at it.
Is this setup supposed to replace the factory life pump/filter and go straight to the CP3, or is it just going to supply fuel to the factory lift pump?

It will replace the factory lift pump only, and keep the factory fuel filter canister with the fuel heaters for us northern boys who need it.
