Basically its where you put the truck in thrid gear and bring up the rpms with clutch disengaged and let it out slowly about halfway or until you can feel it grab a little then let your foot off the clutch all the way. Either your tires well break loose or your smoke your clutch. I am to chicken to try third in mine but in 2nd it will leave a good one-wheel peel.

RobertP, could you pm me some info on the clutch you have, such as price and where you got it?
Also, what do you use your truck for, it is imperitive that I am still able to tow with mine, but I dont want to drop $2,000+ on a DD but I think an FE will be too jerky and I am not positive an OFE will hold.

TIA for any info.

Let us know if you find it a bit grabby, especially if you tow.

I find it grabby in reverse, but forward, you just give it a tad of gas or use granny. I was told that if one had a 4x4, and they put in in low, backing up with a trailer would be OK. I don't have a 4x4, but my trailer weighs half of what my truck does.
