You don't need a 3850 unless your are going to be HARD on your truck with big mods...
A good quality single disk from SBC will do well for 99% of the guys out there.
Gypsyman is runnin 600+ on a single disk. I'm pretty sure lmills is too. I might be wrong tho.
Singles are around a thousand I think...

Quite a bit. I know a guy with a Stock 2005 other than those exact two boxes. It even has a stock turbo and it holds its own at the local tractor pulls. They pyro climbs faster than the tach tho...seriously. It's a powerful stack, I just think a guy needs some timing to go along with it.

Your Welcome and Luken is right. I went with the 3850 becaus eI need my truck to be "bulletproof" at what I hope will end up around 1000hp!

I see why you need a high end clutch like that. No reason to go cheap with all that power.
Hopefully my stock will last for awhile!
