Not all of us have as much disposable time on our hands as DJ to check the body mount bolts. Big difference between a 3" spacer and 1" "puck" which is actually a NVH isolator.
I've seen several of them shift and even a couple rip out. Kinda hard to drive home with a manual trans when you can't shift into 2,4 or reverse.

thanks guys
so far after reading all the posts, i have had some great feed back. hate to say this, but i'am a pavement queen. LOL yup getting old at 40 work so much that i don't wheel like i used to back in the early 80's and 90's.. going through water holes/ponds with my 88 F350 built to the max..that freaking truck was something elese.. couldn't get it stuck no matter what i did.. oh... sorry dodge here.. got lost in time.. so at this point i need some extra room for my 38's or 40's.. i pull a boat sometimes and haul some heavy tile now and then. kinda don't get the truck muddy. the body lift seems to be the answer to getting me a few extra inches w/out breaking the bank. seems that DJ know's alot when it comes to body lifts and such. now about the intercooler lines?? i wonder how this might affect this kit??? i will research that also. also curious if i would get better AIR flo with the 3 inch gap???? i'm still trying to reach this guy with the 04 and the body lift?? want to see how it has held up to his playtime?? still want to thank all for their input. will post some pic's when i'm done

Here is mine with a 5" Superlift and a 3" PA body lift and 38" Swamper SSR's
Ok well here we go again.........All the crap talk about body lifts is a bunch of bull. Granted mine is on a 2nd gen....but whatever same thing!!
Yeah sure, if you wheel the crap out of your expensive truck and beat the snot out of it.......then ok maybe a body lift isn't the best idea in the world. But for people ( such as myself ) who like to have a large truck with tons of power.....but don't want the nasty driveline angles with a 10 plus inch suspension lift, then a body lift is an option. Call my truck a pavement queen or whatever you want........I work hard for my truck and all I put into it and I don't see the point of abusing my truck.
So if you want to install a body lift then go for it.......I will tell you first hand that there are no side affects or any of those crazy rumors. Mine works just fine!! The only thing that you wouldn't be able to do is tow a gooseneck........but being that high who would want to?
Mine was a cake walk to install........me and a buddy taking our time took us 5 hours. The intercooler was cake, trimmed a little bit off of one of the pipes and rotated the other........no big deal!!

I've seen body lifted beds loaded heavy in the middle (drywall, tile, cement, mortar etc.) bow the bed floor, crack the joint sealant and dimple the spot welds on other trucks. I've also seen it crack the joints where the bed sides attach to the front of the box and under the tailgate on either side.
If you're handy with a band saw, you could fill that gap with a wood sleeper...paint it black and nobody will ever see it behind the fender well.
