2wd, front end leveling of some sort??
I've seen a few trucks with the front end leveled on the 2wd trucks, I've got an 01 and an 06 that I would like to have done, not real expensive though. I didn't know if just getting some spacers would do it fine, or what, or if there's other problems in doing that? Also, how much of a spacer....2"....2.5"...or is there a 3" ?? The 01 I'm not too concerned about, cause it's just a ranch truck, I just need a little more elevation on it, not really driving it on the road at all. The 06 though, I'd like to do be careful on. Thanks for the tips!
Oh, any pics would be great too, thanks!

I have a 2004 2wd 3500 dually with the Daystar brand two inch leveling kit. I run 22.5 Alcoas with Hankook tires with no clearance issues. Take a look at my gallery to get an idea of how a 2wd can look with only a two inch leveling kit. You will need a good alignment after the install.

Mine has a 2.5". There are pictures in my gallery or here http://good-times.webshots.com/album/568109743iwLRgm
It sat perfectly level but I like a little rake and usually have air in my bags that keeps the rear up a little

Ok, well that does help a bit, I had a 4wd before and did the 2". I think I'll just stick with the 2" then. I just wanted to make sure I don't end up doing it then have all kinds of issues because of it. I appreciate the help!

If you're looking for the inexpensive route, move the spacer blocks on the rear axle to the bottom. I did it, easy and doesn't cost anything. This isn't the best picture, but hopefully you can see it.

Well, I had already looked at the spacer blocks, but I can't do that. Also, on the 01 I need just a little more clearing in the front. I've also kinda beat up the tailgate a little bit too. Cause my bags are filled then I unhook from the GN and it either scrapes it a little, or when I hook back up I hit it a little bit. You can't tell till it's down but still, so if the truck was a little more level and the rear not pointing up so much it would help a little. I'll be sure to get a good alignment, that's one thing I didn't do on the 4wd.
Oh.....what about the front sway bar, and links, do those links need to be longer? Or spacers for the sway bar?? Who has them, who doesn't, and who thinks they're not needed?????????? Thanks!

Go with 2.5" Daystars and longer shocks in the front and the truck will be level, but like leonesm I like a little rake so I put bag on the back. No more hitting steep driveways or dragging the front offroad.
