Actually the loudest now is right past 2200. I really thought it would be really loud, but its not as terrible, the tone is different with the HTT than the little stocker. The stocker was obnoxious. Truck literally sounds like an biplane when I get on it now, and the turbo howl is insane!!!
I guess you can say its pretty loud, but I'm so used to it I welcome it.

Wow, finally getting back to this!
I was very distracted going through the medical school application/interview process. Now that I'm accepted I can get back to the fun stuff until I start in July.
I got as far as purchasing a nice 2nd gen manifold that is already tapped for EGT. It's been sitting in the garage for a few months now, so I think I'm ready to collect everything else I need. I found a place that sells a flange and v-band clamp that will make the downpipe bolt up to the stock turbo. I am going to get those pieces, the extended oil line, and parts for the modified *****'s Whistler. If my calculations are correct, these parts will make this mod a bolt-on. If anyone knows different, please let me know before I tear my truck apart and find out the hard way.

Levi: Sorry for the late reply! I don't get emails when there's a reply here like on CF. Maybe I have to enable the option or something.
Regarding med school: I actually start this week, and I'm really looking forward to it. We just got back from Germany as a last fun trip, and the beer was awesome.
Regarding the swap: I have all of the parts collected, and have plans to complete the swap late August (barring any huge tests the following Monday). I hope to get some good pics and post a write-up when complete. I still use your videos to show people why I'm putting an old manifold on a new truck.
Edit: Found the email option and enabled it, so future replies should be more timely.
