285-75-17???

Will a 285-75-17 tire fit on a stock 4X4 without a leveling kit? It says they are a 33.8" tall tire, I am not sure on the width.

Yep, good size tire for mileage and looks ok too. I have a set on mine right now so I dont burn down my 35s while doing a little Adrenaline testing...

Toyo and Nitto make that size in an AT(Toyo's load rating is 600# higher then it's Nitto sister) In a MT Toyo makes the same size also.

I just put on a set of Nitto Terra Grapplers (spec at 33.8" tall and 11.3" wide) and I love them. Super smooth, great traction all around. Have not tested them offroad yet. They fill out the wheelwell nicely. I did take a little hit on milage though from the 33's I had..............

Thanks guys. I want to fill out the wheel wells more than stock, but I tow some heavy weight in the summer months and like the stock size for towing. I think I will eventually go with the Terra Grapplers. Either the 285-70 or the 285-75. I still have some ok tread left on these stock BFG's that came with the truck and over 75000 miles on them. They have been tough to kill.
