285/70R17 Toyo Open Country AT
Just got the 285/70R17 Toyo Open Country AT tires installed yesterday and put a couple hunderd miles on them and so far cant tell any differance from the Michelin AT slicks that were on from the factory. I will be in the WV mudd next week and will get to test them for traction but so far I like.

Toyo's
These are D rated and I dont know what the weight rating is. I'm sure their web site would be able to give you all the info you need.

One has a load rating of 121, and max PSI of 65. Pretty likely that's a D rated tire.
They also list one with a load rating of 126 (that's 3740lbs!!) and max PSI of 80. I have to believe it's E rated and a far better choice for towers and haulers.
See this chart at toyo's website - http://toyo.com/tires/tire_specsheet.cfm?id=12

I have Toyo OC AT 265's and they are load range E and very smooth on the road and suprisingly good offroad but I only have two on the front...The Cooper S/T's on the back just won't wear out after 40 or so 1/4 miles, longgggg burnouts and over 50k miles. ks

I am running the 285's on my truck,, and I have about 50 thousand k on them (30k miles) they are pretty much done,, wish they lasted longer,,, other than that they are a wonderful tire. I need to replace them now,, so I am looking around at some different kinds ,, but will probably go back to them

Are the Toyo's loud?
I was going to get some Revo's for my next tire since they are raved about both online and by my friends. But after a ride on them this weekend, not so sure about them being as quiet as they say.
I spend a lot of time on the road, but I want something that will still do well in the snow and dirt on the few times on it.... and still be quiet. I want it all... I know.

I have been running them for about 4000 miles now and they seam to be doing ok, little early to tell to much. They are the load range E rated for 3750 #'s @ 80 psi.

As far as being loud, I would not consider them loud. I didn't real notice much of a change from the stock BFG's
