285/65/20 Toyo MT on 9" wheels
After looking at my business partner's new Ram 1500 Hemi, I'm thinking 20" wheels maybe the way to go His truck "seems" to be the same size as my 3500 even if it has 5 lug 20" wheels. His tires are 275/60/20 but I have no idea what the backspacing on his stock wheels are.
My stock 17" wheels are backspaced 43mm (1.7") and I'd like to keep the tires inside the fenderwells (and I do not have flares).
I've looked at aftermarket wheels with 30mm of backspacing and by my measurements, they would stay under the sheetmetal.
I'm thinking a set of Moto's or Alba 688 with the tire in the post title on a 9" wheel.
Any thoughts how this might work?
