Trying to buy some performance stuff. I'm a guessing my early 07' 5.9 is a HO motor??? People keep asking this question and I'm guessing it is, am I correct??? When did they change from an SO to an HO. My truck is a 3500 also...

 

Yes. But if they know you have an 07 w/ the 5.9 and not the 6.7 and they are still asking that question, you might want to deal with someone who actauly knows these trucks.

Yeah I agree with omaharam defiantly find somebody that has a clue about it. If they don't even know what engines are even in the trucks you need to go somewhere else. What are you wanting to buy and what kind of hp goals do you have?

 

I say find someone else UNLESS they asked if you had the 5.9L HO or the 6.7L. I know some people that refer to the 04.5+ trucks as 5.9L HO's not just a 5.9L.

Now if they said do you have the 5.9L or the 5.9L HO then that's another story.

 

Just a few small things like billit diff and tranny pans. I'm told their's different axles between a few and I already got the wrong Volant cold air sent to me. I guess the HO's need a spacer under the air box??? They are right there because I couldn't get the box to fit for the life of me...
