2006 Boost ???
Is the wastegate on our 2006's oversized?? I can hit 33 psi, and then the wastegate opens and the boost drops too 27, and then slowly builds up too 29. I have never seen this happen before, usually a wastegate will drop you 1 or 2 psi, but 6?? I Am thinking that the wasgate is either really oversized, or the truck is defueling at 2700 rpms. I would like too hope my truck is not defueling before max power is attained at 2900 rpms!
Also, what is a good OEM sized replacement air filter?? Every time I mat the throttle i have too reset my filter minder because i can pull it into the red with my fram, BTW the air filter is a day old, and this was happening on the original as well.

As for the boost level fluctuating, the wastegate is controlled by the computer, which operates off the MAP sensor, so there is a little delay there.
As for drop replacements,
Amsoil
AFE
Banks
K&N - no no
True Flow
That should keep you busy for a bit
