2005 Shutting off and Throwing P0193 code
First off.... Hello. I have a 2005 2500 as you can see in my sig. I have not been able to install a rail pressure gauge or LP pressure gauge yet. (They're coming..... sometime)
I have been having some issues with the truck. It only occurs when running the EZ. I'll be cruising down the road and the truck will just shut off. It will not be under heavy loads or anything (probably 30-50% load) when it happens. It has probably done it 6 times in the last 8 months. It however is getting really bad. I put it on a computer about a month ago and found out that the code was thrown when starting the truck (rpm was 120) It did it to me again last weekend and threw the code when trying to start it back up.
When it did start, It sounded like a 12V with the injector rattle and everything. I immediately shut it down and disconnected the EZ and everything went back to normal.
Any ideas on what could be causing this? Bad EZ??? It only does this when I'm running the module.

It could be a bad EZ or the rail connection might be loose. You can throw some dielectric grease on it and also unplug and replug to make sure you have a good tight fit. You should also do this with the MAP sensor just to make sure.
