Cool 2003 edge mod in a 2005 or 2006 (A 600 cummins)

I just bought a new truck (2006 Dodge Ram 3500) last week and took my 2003 edge module off of the 03 and scence I know electronics. I decided to dig a little bit deeper into the idea of putting it on the new truck. so after looking at the circuts I saw no reason that it wouldn't work the same on my new 2006. guess what it worked, really GOOD. Man I have never seen milage like this befor! It is getting a wopping 33 mpg and that is no joke. So for those of you out there who own or have owned a 03 to 04 and is thinking of buying or have already bought a new 04.5-06. Dont waste you money on a new module just use the one you have and you will be surprised!

Sorry pal it won't work. The ECM is different and no longer has the data link streaming port connector hanging out of the side of it like the early CR's do.

Nice try though. Next time, go with something like 23 MPG. The jig won't go up so fast.

The '03/04 EZ will work on the 600's. BUT, the rail pressure will be too high and eventually damage the injectors and or the pressure relief valve.
The '03/04 SO and HO Cummins ran at a lower rail pressure than the 600's.
BTW, the EZ only uses the MAP and rail pressure and I highly doubt the 33mpg claim.....

33 mpg?? Next time take it off the jackstands before you calculate mileage- i hear its more accurate that way.

The EZ works fine and some are using it but only on level 1. I guess I assumed he was talking about the Juice as he didn't say which one he was using. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out a MAP switch and a fuel pressure switch are just simple voltage and if they look the same and have the same connector then they probably are the same..

he was probaly refering to the overhead reading, some boxes will cause it to be very inacurate so hes thinking hes getting 33mpgs but only actually getting 20.
