Question 2 inch leveling kit

what 2 inch leveling kit should i go with? I have thought about using 2 inch springs from superlift with and add a shock system. but i am looking to equip my front with a full bumper replacement and a 12,000 pound hydrolic winch. is any one running something like this. and will a lift void any thing.

I dont know if the lift will void anything - I think the rule of thumb is if you modify it be prepared to pay for any problems. I think the law read if they can find a reason to deny a claim based on your modifications then you are out of luck
I have had a leveling kit on since new (75,000 miles) I got it from Jackit.com and it came with new front shocks. I like it and have no regrets except that I wish I just spent the money up front to get the 4 inch kit because I want it now - I think the leveling kit may stress some parts because it doesnt come with longer control arms so my advise is do your homework before you buy. I am sure there are some other guys on here that can let you in on their experiences.
Lots of luck, Jason

Id be interested to hear from people who have done the 2" springs as well. It seems alot of yall who do the leveling kit seem to have wished you went w/ a lift. Would the springs be any better than using the spacers?

I have the DayStar 2" front leveling spacer kit. I wish I had gone with the Kore leveling kit(springs, shocks, bumpers, etc.) instead. The spacer kit is ok for now, but I do believe that it stresses front end and will eventually cause premature wear. I am planning on getting the Kore leveling kit as soon as money and time allow.

If I were going to add that kind of additional weight on the front, I believe that I would look a full lift kit.

The Kore system and your current set up will have the exact same effect on your OEM components...none. The Kore kit is just a more complete level kit. It still uses all of the factory components...ie control arms, track arm, all bushings, etc.

They have a price range for almost anyone...

Look at their site...or the DRC site.

I put in 2" spacers (ones that I made) about 8 weeks ago along with longer shocks and it all works just fine, and the truck looks better.

I talked to "Sarah" at KORE a few weeks ago. The prices were as follows:

RACE System (like you would use at Baja) is $3500.00 Don't know about shipping.

CHASE System is $2500.00 plus 104 shipping to Texas.

PACE System is $1200.00

The Race system is the full system. Chase includes the front springs and nitrogen filled shocks. Pace just includes the springs and Bilsteen shocks.

Phone is (760) 749-8687

If you look at Rick D's Truck.........his has a KORE system on it. Very nice! Im hoping Santa will bring me one!!!

$1200 for the base system

I think Id rather suffer the loss in ride quality by goin w/ new front springs if im just gonna run 35's.

Thats an insane amount of money......

If you spend any time off road then I would definately recommend the KORE system. The ride is very nice. I have the Chase system with the Bilstein 7100's, and it also comes with the mini paks for the rear springs which I think really help with the ride quality while still allowing the truck to be used for work( carry loads, towing, etc). If all you want is looks then go with spacers, but if you want your truck to ride better then I think the KORE sytem is worth it. As a side note, if you think the Kore system is expensive I saw a suspension kit from Rockkrawler that was like $6000.00 I would be interested to hear some reports on that setup and hear how it works.

I had a rancho leveling kit on mine, came with longer contol arms , not a bad ride.
Have since installed 5 " lift - wished I would have done that right from the start, the kit I have gives you all new steering componets - very nice ride - way better than stock, no vibration at any speed. And my truck actually gets used offroad alot, its my work truck.
With any lift including leveling kits the shocks are the key to a good ride.

I am very happy with my Tuff 4.5" with Bilsteens...out the door for under 1k. If you just did a Tuff level kit with Bilsteens it would be 400 or so...

To each is own.
