19.5 inch wheels and 225 vs 245

Looking for some help. I cant find any tires that I like to fit my dually. I am about to pull the trigger on some 19.5 wheels from Ricksons and looking for a tire reccomendation. Cannot decide between 225 or 245. The effective ratio for the 245 would be 3.58. The 225 keeps my ratios and spedometer same as factory. How is the ride of the 19.5 tires in a mud snow rated tire? Any help from anyone that has them would be appreciated. I started out looking for an all terrain in a 17" and there is just not much out there. I had an 03 with the Goodyears and they fell apart. My 05 has Generals and at 34000 miles there is not much left. I have heard the commercial tires do not do well in the mud?? The tread looks agressive enough. I am sure this has been a topic before but I am looking for feedback from guys who have done this and are currently running them. Thanks BT

As far as performance there are a ton of commercial tires out there to choose from. There are highway and all terrain and so on. I just bought some 255/22.5 the tread on mine are highway but I had them sipped or whatever and that helps a ton for snow and rain. Also keep in mind the taller you go the more your rpm's will go down. Also you can get a 14 or 16 ply in these tires I would go for the 14 you could probably get about 100k out of them.

Well I could tell you later today that when they will be on. But I have driven around in 2 Ford's with the setup and it is a little bouncier. Also don't just call Rickson or American Force or whoever, I saved 1k buy getting the tires from Les Schwab and the rims from Henderson wheel.
