anyone want mine I'll make ya a smoking deal... only used 26 times exactly...
Plus before I did my studs I spoke with a couple people in the know. Doug (jetpilot) told me of his experiences with the studs. He recommended using more ARP moly lube. They give you a little container with the studs. I bought a pint more and it was needed to lube them adequately. I have alot of the ARP lube left over also...

WOW this is the deal of a life time especially with the left over ARP lube!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!
PM SENT
Heat affects the studs...
I would do the retorque no matter what...and like I said...why not pull the head and get to know your engine! You may not like what you see!
All you have to do is pull the valve covers and the rockers...retorque...and reinstall...no biggy. Gives you a chance to check valve lash again etc.

Sounds so simple, but maybe not for the average backyard mechanic.
I agree another thing to think about "hand in hand" with HEAT is TORQUE.
Heat OR Torque are both likely causes of failure.
Lack of torque or over torque can and will be deadly!!!!!
