12 seconds on 37's??
Alright im shooting for some 12 second passes last this year or mid next year depending on money. So far i got alot of things considered to buy but would it be worth me to run a 6 inch lift and swap to smaller tires or to just drop the truck back down after i reach my power level i want. I looking for 800hp also.

First thing that came to mind was in order to put that power down, you are going to need some traction bars. I am sure it is possible, but it would be an easier goal to achieve if you drop the truck back down and run some smaller tires. Those 37 inch Toyos are heavy, and with the Drive train angles with that kind of power, who knows? Also to push that HP maybe need to look at a 5 inch exhaust? Should be a fun project!!

oops i have everything at my work to build the bars just no time. And the exhaust i should have mentioned that 7 inch mitre stack is on order now!
Yep the goal i know is more acheable with lowering it but i like being the outsider of the bunch

you'll be well under high 12's with all that ! My truck runs 12's w/ 6" lift on 37's and is a mega. You can only go so fast with tires that big though and any faster than 12, the 6" lift would have to go.

My point though was... with a 6" lift, the crank height is too high and a serious track won't let you run that fast.

Why the 6" lift? You can fit 37s easily with a 3-4" lift(heck some guys are running NO lift)
Id just want to run as little lift as possible to clear the tires.
Another thing youll need to check is the speed rating on the 37s youre going to run(just to be on the safe side)

I was at the track when it ran the 11.85 or whatever it was. Looked like a scary ride at the big end. I can understand the desire to drop it.
