06 exhaust, cat test pipe ormuffler/resonator?
I'm trying to figure whether to use a cat test pipe or a flow through muffler/resonator. I would rather do the test pipe but I want to make sure I don't get a drone. I have already removed the muffler with the kit from Genos. It didn't make it much louder so i could go a little louder. I'm also keeping the resonator that goes behind the muffler to help.
I appreciate any advice.

I am looking for the same answer also. My research indicates there is more restriction from our muffler and to keep my truck DEQ compliant I was going to install a muffler delete only. Can you hear the difference with the muffler delete? I DON'T want it to loud or near that just some sound you can hear with the windows down.

It has a growl from around 900-1100rpms but after that unless you're accelerating hard it is hardly a noticeable difference. When cruising at 65mph you can barely hear the difference.
