Question 06 dodge accessories

I was wondering if you guys could tell me what the best looking chrome brush guard is for a 06 model. I love the ranch hand but i dont think black would look good on this dark blue. Also, my stock tires are beating the **** out of my fenders with rocks. is there any mod that looks good that would protect this. mud flaps look bad on a single wheel truck i think.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks.

oh yea. i forgot, is there anyway to replace the factory stereo and get rid of the half-circles that are cut out in the wood grain dash. i want to upgrade the stereo but that would look bad i think.

The dash kit that would come with any aftermarket head unit (Trust Me, GO ALPINE) would fill in these half-circles. If you really want it to disapear and don't mind spending some extra coin, have the place pull the plastic wood dash piece, and fill-in the dash kit seems with bondo and then paint the whole dash piece with adapter in place. Then it will look like your aftermarker headunit was made to go there from the factory. Just a suggestion. It is what I am going to do.

I think you can get the wood dash for the navigation system from the dealer. It doesn't have those 1/2 circle cut-outs.

Ahh yes, you are right. In fact, come to think of it, I HAVE the Navigation and do not have those half-circles!!!

I have been thinking of the same thing. I think I will be getting some front splash guards to save the doors. I might even line-x the bottom half of the truck but not so sure yet.
I'm not sure the head unit your thinking of but I'm putting in the Kenwood navi. unit which is about a 7" screen. I was orignally going to have all the faux wood painted to match the exterior of the truck so the shop doing the deck install was going to charge me about 10 hrs. to make my stock surround work and paint everything. But the woods really growing on me so I might just buy the factory navi. surround and have them use that with a little filler around the unit.

Go Alpine. THey are so far above and beyond Pioneer, Kenwood, and the rest, that they are worth the price. And with the Double-DIN W200, it is one of the CHEAPER priced units! That's what will be in mine!

I'll have to look into that. I have only personally seen the Eclipse and Kenwood units in friends cars so this would be a new one to me.
