Anyone put an aftermarket deck in your 06?

I have an Alpine installed and had to buy a data multiplex cable to replace the factory unit, otherwise the aftermarket decks won't work.
Yesterday I took my truck in for the high idle TSB and now my deck won't turn on. Were thinking it might have fried my new cable. My truck goes into a stereo shop Thursday to try a new cable.

Anyone else have any similar issues with aftermarket stereos?

I bought a $20 Curtchfield adapter for my 06 and it works great after a slight modification. Do you have Infinity? Not sure why you would need the Multiplex cable and I didn't..

Yeah, it's the Infinity. The installer said the 06's use a data cable and the deck wont work without getting the aftermarket one.. Interesting that you didn't need one...
