04.5 automatic and smarty JR.

I have a 04.5 with 146000 miles on it , the mods I have are an MBRP exhaust "turbo back no cat" 4in. , an AFE giant filter cold air intake , a FASS lift pump utilizing the stock filter and I just a few days ago bout and installed a Smarty jr. I initially set it on level 3 , TM3 and timing default and liked it, I dont floor it very often so I figured it would be o.k.. So this past weekend I played with the timing , put it on 3 and put the Tm to stock but still have power level 3 , the truck feels like stock power again, is that because of the tourque management setting? or could it be fuel timing, Ive got no smoke at all on level 3timing. What setting do you guys recommend should I just change the Tm to 3 again, I just am not ready to kill the tranny its been great for 146000 miles

I would stay off the timing side of things and stick to just the fuel. I smoked a set of injectors using timing.

First of all, timing will not hurt injectors. Pressure will and you won't have to worry about that with the Jr. I only use TM 2 (Torque Management) which is one above stock. Yes, the TM is used stock big time.

The torque management is the difference you feel. It is also the one adjustment that is hardest on your tranny. Based on your comments about protecting the tranny, leave it stock. You are still getting the extra power on sw3... it is just delivered in a different way. The timing is best set at what gives you the best fuel mileage... you'll have to play around and see.
