I think the first thing I am going to do to my newly purchased 04.5 HO bone stock truck with 250,000 miles by the time I drive it home is going to be the trans. I will be calling Dave on Monday at the Georand Brother's. But I was wondering what your guys input is. It is a 2 wd with the 4spd auto and no mods ever done to it and all highway miles and hardly ever pulling anything but a small bumper pull trailer. never had a gooseneck or 5th wheel attached to it or even the hitches mounted to the bed. I might put my extra set of 5th wheel plates in it just incase I need to use it to pull my 32' camper. But I won't be pulling anything bigger than that. I plan on turning the 4" exhaust to a free flowing exhaust. I am going to read up on the Home Depot mod and I might build me a round tube intake for it also that I have seen some guys do on here. Then after that I will think about a tuner.

What is the fuel tank vent mod? And also I seen a post on here where the guy added an after market fuel pump to run parrallel to the stock lift pump so he could switch between the two when needed. That is something I am deff going to look at be doing.
