You can increase boost by slipping a washer or two under the wastegate head acting as shims. To accomplish this, you need to loosen the two smaller bolts that hold the wastegate rod head assembly to the compressor flange. The bolts are long enough to allow you to shim two small washers per bolt or one thick one. This equates to 5 psi or so on most setups and will cure a leaky slow spooling turbo that does not have enough preload on the internal flapper puck to make a tight seal.
You can also pinch the line or install a boost elbow, but if want even more, the shims work great.
On my particular setup, I used shims and a wastegate in line controller. Makes for precise spoolup and exact wastegate tune-ability.
