03 DRW Need Tires 235/80/R17 WHo Makes Them

So far I have found I can buy another set of Goodyears and only get 40,000 miles out of them. I found a 235/80/R17 in the Cooper Discoverer S/T line with an E Load Range. Other than those two what are my options? I can't find anything in Michilin that will work. I'd like something with a more aggressive tread than the stock tires. Anyone have any ideas?

I believe the 265/70/17 will fit on the duallies.

Are the 265/70/17's the largest tires we can put on a stock lift 4x4 dually?

Might want to check on the Mastercraft Courser C/T's as well....they're the "cousin" tire of the Coopers.

Can anyone confirm that we can run 265/70/17's on the4 2x4 DRW without spacers? My GN is 35' and weighs +/-15,000. I am concerned that with the weight of the trailer the tires might rub.

I was having trouble finding tires with a decent amount of tread

I ended up with 285's and 2" spacers between the duals

not what I really wanted but is what I got

I really wish I could find a 255/80/17 in an all terrain tire
you know , with a little grip

Before I got my 315/70R17's I called all the tire manufactures and asked if they had
any plans to produce a 255/80or85 series for the 17 inch wheels and they all said
no!
My 315's fit with 2" spacers between the duals and a 2" level kit in the front
with no problems at all.
I have not had any tire rub at all in the front.
