03 AD150 Canister mod

Well I managed to come up with a pretty solid setup for my very different canister. I forgot to take some pictures of assembling the two halfs together, but i just used some clear fuel rated vinyl hoseand ran it from the barb fitting on the top of the canister down to my modified sump pickup.

Heres the bottom of the canister w/pickup removed.

Heres the inside of the top part of the canister modified.

Here is the modified sump pickup, i use a diesel approved epoxy to help seal it so it wouldn't suck any air.

The factory sump also has a strainer in it, which i thought would be a nice option to keep.

Here is the modified sump installed in the canister.

I am going to be going to Twin turbos, twin pumps and bigger injectors, and heard the walbro wont keep up with dual pumps. So i figured i would go ahead and get a AD while they were on sale!

i just cut the return drawstraw about 4 or so inches down and the vinyl hose i got from a autoparts store here. Not 100% sure how long i cut the suction hose forgot to get a final measurement, because i had to trim it a couple times. I just capped my y in the filler neck off or you could get a small piece of exhaust tubing and swap that in there. any exhaust shop should have a piece of 2" leftover you could get. just make sure its good and clean. No i didnt have to because i used the factory sump in the canister. you can see that in my pitcures its the cylinder standing up with the hose barb in it.

Yes i bought a few extra fittings one 1/2 JIC to 1/2 mpt 90* elbow, one 1/2 female pipe thread to 1/2 female pipe thread coupler, one 1/2 mpt to 1/2 hose barb for the suction side. then get two big 1.5" od .5" ID washers, and some diesel approved epoxy. only one hole is drilled for the AD grommet and it is 1 1/8" but i drilled mine to 1" for tighter fit.
