Yes i have noticed that on mine as well. Its not enough to bother me really. Only thing that i find weird is somtimes when i am maneuvering from 2nd to reverse it will fall into reverse really easy when i want it to go into 2nd.

My neighbor will gladly sell you his '03 3500 Ford 6.0. He's never gotten over 14 mpg. since new. Best mileage is achieved while sitting in the shop. On the mileage subject, someone on the "other" forum posted an announcement that AAM is going to release 3.42's soon, but that was quite a while ago.

You guys are gonna have put more miles on your CTD. Mine fuel mile wasn't to great until I broke the 20k mark. I averaged around 14-15mpg, now I get around the 20-22mpg area. Thats so long ago I almost forget. Too bad once the motor breaks in the rest of the truck falls apart. Mine has 200k on it and the doors are starting to rust.

I love the trans and although my mileage isn't as good as the old 03 I traded in, I'm sure it will get better. I average 14-15 city. 16 if I don't sit in too much traffic. I just pulled my trailer around for 3 days and got around 11-12mpg depending on how hard I pushed it. I have gotten a best of almost 19mpg highway. I only have about 5500 miles on it though. I haven't seen 500 miles to a tank yet but I don't let it get below 1/4 tank before filling up. 890 miles sounds kind of crazy to me but who am I?!?!?
