Went for my first ride in a 6.7
I know, I'm about 6 months behind the times....but my neighbor just brought home a 6.7l QC SB 4x4 Big Horn with a manual tranny. I rode in it about 20 miles in the front seat, 20 miles in the back, last night. I was impressed with the noise, or lack there of. Both engine noise and road/wind noise is substantially reduced. Seemed to ride better too, yet everything seemed stiffer than my truck. The quality of the cloth seats and seat support seemed better than mine too. And yes, the exhaust brake sure is cool.
As all my neighbors drove past my house this morning on their way to work (3 CTDs, 3 durataxis, 2 PoS diesels) his was by far the quietest- couldn't hardly hear it. But what the heck are all those kegger looking things hanging from the exhaust?? (just kidding, I know- sure looks strange though).
