Do you have DW on your truck with the 285 Toyos on it? I put the DSS on mine a while ago.Cant actually feel any differance,but I never had a problem.Its main feature is to stop steering shaft wear so its definately a good addition.My steering box is always slightly oily,never drips and is not coming from the shaft.The DSS may seem like it does not want to fit,but you just have to get it at the correct angle and kind of rotate it in.

I have a DB Diesel stabilizer on my 2007 3500 Ram truck. It made a world of difference in the steering and road ruts on I-90 by Spokane Washington. It definitely firms up the front end. Good investment and easy to install. Took about a 1/2 hour.
