Somebody clear this up for me, please
I stopped at the dealer today to ask a few question with the service manager, my truck is stock except for the ccv re-route, silencer ring delete, egr unplugged. so he tells me that the truck wont initiate the regen process if the egr is unplugged, and it will just gather soot in the cooler and egr. eventually pluggun up all of the obama filters in the exhaust piping. i was unaware that the system does this, (is he freel). so i asked about the soot in the crankcase, and thats an even longer story. ive only got 35k miles but im ready to get deleted. just wondering about any major problems (mechanical) from the deletes, since my friend the service manager says all warranty will be lost if anything is deleted. some friend huh

You will have less problems after the deletes. I have over 150,000 miles after the deletes and have not been the shop for any engine or emission problems since taking them off. I removed the egr, dpf and egr cooler. No problems since it was done.

Where do they get the techs at dealerships, walmart door greeters? This forum is full of a wealth of knowledge to newbies and trained pros. Maybe we should put a link for the service managers to look on here before they speak about engine systems they have no clue about! As soon as the money is here I am getting deleted, Im not waiting for the engine to be flooded with diesel and soot for 100k miles then delete on a worn engine, take that mr dealer! These engine controls are a ticking time bomb, we need to take all of our deleted parts and throw them in the white house watermelon patch. Emmissions are not the problem tree huggin liberals are!
