So a little puff is expected?

Ok every now and again since its just now getting cold here in oklahoma when I start my truck a little puff of white smoke comes out for about half a second then thats it. Sometimes it does it sometimes it dont. I have been reading on here until I am blue in the face. I read a tsb that said in cold temps if the white smoke is minimal and last for a split second than its to be expected. Any ideas or comments I do not want to take this thing in. I dont feel its that big of a deal. Just kinda concerns me.

A little black/brown/white of smoke on startup is fine for a diesel.

Whens its cold, I see it from mine for the first 30 seconds or so. I think it's just the moisture that condenses within the dpf, cat, muffler, etc burning out when the first batch of hot exhaust gas hits it.
