Looks good. Thats the best way to do a truck if you expect to use it.

I'd love to see more photos of various flatbeds. I'm planning on building one starting in late Oct or early Nov before the weather gets too cold, and there are still a lot of directions I'm considering taking.

Rob,

I ended up getting a CM Brand made in OK.

TWO TOOL BOX MODEL
http://www.cmtruckbeds.com/Categorie...f-e48c8684e286

Mine has the 4 boxes instead of 2.

I might have gotten the Gooseneck Brand but didn't know about
it at the time. CM had a dealer in my hometown

I like the treadplate sides alot on the Gooseneck.
The CMs are smooth sides with treadplate deck.
I've been real happy with mine and I get alot of great comments and
questions from other haulers in the truckstop parking lots when I'm on the road.
I'm sure the Gooseneck turns lots of heads too.

BTW, I never pull gooseneck trailers,,,5th Wheel and TTs only.

How do you have to plate and insur it with that setup?

i had an 84 Dually years ago with a similar bed and got nailed for having pickup plates on it. Had to have commercial plate and insur unless it was being used for farm use.

Seems like at the time plates went from 65.00 to 1600 .

Rob

Here are a few of mine its a CM I'd do it again in a heart beat. I've built 2 welding beds and end up cutting them apart and re designing them several times. For the price $3200 I'll never build another one the Cm is not as clean as I would have done it but it sure was faster.
