One Piece Rear Shaft

I had a u-joint go south on my trip this weekend at 50K miles. Since this truck has had the launch shudder since day one, I figured I would get the 08+ 1 piece shaft.

My parts guys is whining since I don't have the last 8 digs of the vin. Can one of you guys help me out? Would have to be for a Diesel, G56, quad cab, and long bed. I'm assuming 2500, 3500, and drw would all be the same?

Or does someone have a part number?

Thanks!

OK, so somewhere in 2007 they changed over.

Does yours have the launch shudder we speak of? The Mega and the LB Quad use the same shaft. Do you have Manual or Auto?

I have not noticed any launch shudder and it pulls smooth like a freight train from the get go. As one might suspect, one must be carefull with damaging the large diameter aluminum shaft and throwing things out of balance though.
