Talking one bad mega cab 4x4 dually 6.7 custom straight pipe and programmer

I have 2007.5 6.7 L mega cab dually 4x4 (Metalic black)
I have the truck straight piped into dual 6" stacks right out of the bed, it has the Edge Juice w/ Attitude this thing will poor out some serious black smoke. I have a 3" leveling kit with 35" tires on 17'' black KMC Rockstar wheels. This truck is awesome, I have owned a 2004 6.0 Ford F-350 , 2006 6.0 Ford F-350 2008 6.4 Ford F-450. It is by far my favorite in every way, it will out pull, out run, and it just flat out looks better with all the mods I have.

By the way it does set off a code ever since I straight piped it.
The code is
: P244A (low DPF pressure)
Which personally I would say that that is obvious being that I do not have a DPF, CAT, or Muffler. I have not had any problem with the truck going into limp mode or any of that it has never derated the power and I will tell you that just by removing all the emission stuff it 3 - 4 mpg. it went from 15-19 mpg at 60mph. Like I said before I love this truck and will not be getting rid of it as fast as I did that FUEL DRINKING '08 Ford F-450 that got about 7 - 8mpg at 70 - 75 mph.

When the code comes up I clear it with the Edge Juice W/ Attitude, and carry on but the light does come back on quite a bit but only in stop and go traffic.
That is the only problem I have had and it does not seem to effect the performance.

I say do it and buy the juice w/ attitude the truck will run night and day different and you will get sound and smoke out of the thing.
(she will even smoke quite a bit without the EDGE)
and you will never have to worry about anything plugging up

no I do not have one but if you go to KC Customs website through google it is on there the stacks are not very loud but they do sound very good and have some serious attitude to them. If you can not find the pictures I will be putting some on here when I get home in a few days. my stacks are the 6" slash backs about cab high

how did you do your straight pipe just weld new bungs in pipe for the sensors? is that increase in mileage the increased exhaust flow or the edge programer?

yes I welded new bungs in the new pipe I put in it. and yes that is the increase in mileage. I put the edge programmer to the stock level and that was where I got the mileage read out, but even when you put the the Edge on the highest level it does maybe a little bit less, but then if you put it on level 3 for just driving it gets 20-22mpg. I also have the S&B cold air intake.
It all helps but the major increase was chopping that emissions crap out of it
I LOVE IT, It is the best truck available I know from experience TRUST ME

Sounds great but I wonder...

Are the Feds gonna get picky as they ARE the ones that mandate all the emissions "Crap"....

I am not to worried about it for I live in Kansas and there is no talk about testing emissions to get your truck legal so until they do it is just all emissions "CRAP" to me and everyone that I know around here be it a Ford Chevy or Dodge. So I say chop it off and let it sing baby
