Need Major help with lift, wheels and tires, pics please

OK, I just bought a 2007 megacab 2500 4x4. Im putting a 6" fabtech lift on. I want a super nice 20" wheel. Looking at runnig a 355/60/20 nitto tire. I dont want the tire to stick way out but I dont care if it sticks out a little. I know these tires are wide. I really like the xd revolver 20x10 wheel but it only comes in a -24 offset. Is that what im looking for? If anyone has pics of there 6" lift and 20" wheels please post them. I want a 37" tall tire in an all terain tread. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

6 inch suspension lifts are pretty much considered standard these days IMO. I know that you can clear 37's on stock backspace wheels with Rancho's kit. I wouldnt believe it but Ive driven their PowerWagon. Mike, do you have and pics of your truck with the lift and tires on? I too am throwing around the idea of 4'' vs 6'' lifts. I worked with Rancho Engineering in 06 when they lifted my 1500. (It's the silver one on their website) What's the measurement from the ground to the bottom lip of your wheel well? Thanks in advance!

sure ... I'll go take some iphone pics of anything you want ... I too know the Powerwagon well. That would be daily driven by Bob Willis ... Regional blah blah blah for the West Coast. Super Nice guy !!! He and that truck is why I put the kit on.

Now wheel well ... front or rear ?

To me, 4" Rancho and 37's looks perfect !!!

Hey Mike, Id really appreciate a side view photo and a front view photo as well as the measurements from the ground to the center bottom lip of the front and rear wheel well. Im considering running a 35'' tire so I think the 4'' would work perfect for me and I have the measurements from a 6'' lift with 35's and id like to see how they compare. How does it ride? I know that my 06 1500 rode great, I had the 9000XL shocks on it.

I worked with Chris Batsch and Larry Serjeff (not sure of the spelling) at their Long Beach, CA location. Everyone I met there from the Security guy at the gate and up were extremely nice and knowledgeable. I learned a lot through that experience and I still keep in contact from time to time.

Thanks,

Roger

Ride is great ... can't complain at all. I run the 9000XL shocks so stiff is stiff and soft is soft ... just dial up what you want. I'll get some measurements tonight for you and some pics too.

Only issue I ran into with the kit was with the super wide Toyos (14.8" wide) the brake line braket put the front bracket in harms way (you know, that stupid metal junk they put on our front hoses). Anyway, to resolve it, I just removed the Rancho bracket and removed the factory metal from the hose and wrapped the hose in corrugated tubing to protect it. Hose hangs fine for flex, no rubbing and no cutting tires ... but bear in mind, the Toyos are freakishly huge in the 37" size. I can take pictures of what I just said also.

Thanks ... I really like it. Hopefully it gets you what you were after. I looked at some 6" trucks ... they are waaaay too tall. I am going to pull the4 step bars off and add the power steps which will make it look taller.

Very nice ride! What gears are you running and did you notice any power loss with the 37's? I'm wanting to do 4" with 35's on stock wheels. I tow a 5th wheel and love the power off the line!!!! I'm running 3:73's

I upgraded to 410s ... For daily driving and pulling my jeep they are ok ... But I plan I redoing them and going to 456 .... The toyos are HEAVY. Truck feels now like it did with 373 gears 295 tires ... Except if I'm trying to really get on it ...
