well my truck finally came in today, (pics will be up tomorrow!!!) & I was just wondering if the Laramie pkg. should come standard with the chrome molding on the doors??? alll the other Laramie's I've seen have had it & there was no place to order it on the build sheet so I just assumed it came with it, but my truck doesn't have it & the dealer says if it was supposed to have it they'll order it & put it on for me, should it have came on the truck????? thanks alot, Dusty

 

Im pretty sure it does. I have a 07 and it came with them, and my buddies 06 came with them.

 

Yes...07 Dodge Ram brochure shows the chrome door molding as standard equipment. Tell em to order it.

 

I've been selling Dodges for awhile now. I've never seen a Laramie package without them. I have seen 1500 badging on one side and 2500 on the other side of a truck! Makes it a Ram 2000 I guess?

talked to the dealer yesterday & they said the cab & chassis didn't come with it, & they couldn't get a part # for it, so I guess I'll get some on ebay???? kinda sucks after spending 40k on this thing & they can't even put the molding on for me?? oh well I guess? Dusty

 

I have only had ST and SLT cab & chassis so far, so I can't say for sure. But my guess is it doesn't come with them. The part number they need to order for you is 82208749. That is the set for the regular ram quad cab pick-up, and they will fit yours too. They retail for $129.

 

Years ago I sold fords, and I sold an explorer that had keyless entry, except that according to the factory it didnt.. no code, so the customer had fancy buttons on the side of their truck that did nothing more than lock the truck
