Has raising oil levels slowed with new flashes?
Just wondered if the issue some of us were having with a rising oil level has slowed down with the latest flashes? I've only had the AU flash for about a month but my level has stayed rock solid since. When they did the flash I had them drain out some oil so the level would be right in the middle of the safe range.
It hasn't budged since.
Has this problem gone away or is everyone just living with it?

I've had the rising oil level. Just had the reflash and an oil change yesterday so I have a good baseline on the oil level so I'll be watching. I hope you're right. You'd think the recall might make it worse if it permits more frequent regens. On the other hand, the rings might be seating better as the motor breaks in, which would reduce the amount of oil getting down into the crankcase. In other words, I don't know, lol.

Has anyone ever confirmed that oil levels were actually rising?
I know it is a common problem to pull your dipstick out and see the oil level showing abount an inch above the full mark. Mine was that way the day I picked it up new, and it read exactly the same when I did the first oil change at 7,000 miles. So it was showing high, but it never increased from day 1.
When the dealership did the oil change they added the recommended full 12 quarts and it ended up showing an inch above full, just like before.
