Exporting a new Dodge truck.

Was reading on the Ford forums there is a change available for 08s to export to a 3rd world countrys. To convert over to non ULSD fuel. etc.Its also on the ones used in military.Ford guys are looking into what the dealer has to do to get them ready for export. They say GM has a similiar program.Any one have any facts on this and if Chrysler has a similar program for their cars and trucks?

If I remember correctly, one of the auto industry mags covered this -- Ford is the only manufacturer offering this setup for running in Mexico -- GM and Dodge have no such program.

Then why can you select what country on the starscan tool. If you select "All Others" you can get some pretty nice options that are not available on the "US" menu.

Here in México Ford sells the 6.4 in the 450/550 models. I've been wanting to stop at the dealership but been busy with work.
