I looked under my truck , and all I can see is the DPF and muffler - the tag on the engine says 2010 emissions complient - what gives? Maybe someone at the plant decided to trick someone! Oh well - less in the exhaust system is better, right!? Thanks.

I was able to pull 65mph no problem coming up the camp verde hill and you know how steep that is!! I was a little apprehensive on the 4spd also but it seems to work just fine for me.

I was looking at the 2007s last week. As far as I can tell the engines are identical except for the programming. And the manual transmissions are the same as well. I specifically asked about the manual transmission. There is no G65 that I am aware of. If there is, I want to know.

Coparam4x4 We've made that trip to the cinders several times. Also up to the rim a lot. When you are going 65 how hard are you on the gas? What kind of mpg are you getting going 65 up I-17? Do you think your mods have anything to do with it?

I know their web sight shows that, but all the C&C literature I have conflicts with that.

If you have stock tires and a 3.73 rear end your rpm should be about 1900 at 65 mph if your high gear is 0.74, else it should be around 2050 if high gear (6th) is 0.79.

I tell you what. There are a lot of reasons to go with a 6.7 and a lot of reasons not to. I just don't want to deal with the nightmare of recalls and really don't want a manual 5.9. I'm just concerned that the 4 speed auto won't be enough to tow a 14K toy hauler up the mountains in AZ.

I thought about the 0% for 72mo deal, but found out rather quickly that it applies only to 2006 models. There are absolutely no 2006 diesel models left in my local area. However there is a large amount of 2007's with 5.9's. I have only seen two 6.7 2007 models in six dealerships.
My local dealer anticipates a truck shipment in late spring with their first 07's having the 6.7 installed. He speculates that Dodge will then begin better financing deals on the 07 5.9's left on the market since production and shipment of the 6.7 is moving along. This will be followed by 6.7 financing deals in late summer beginning to get ready for 2008 and of course much better deals toward winter.
I will be holding off ordering my 07 6.7 for as long as possible, to take advantage of the sweeter financing deals later in the year. All I have to do is keep an eye on the factory to see when they start wrapping up their 07 assembly year.

I am all about the financing. We have a "one price dealer" in our neighborhood. In the past when purchasing my other Dodge vehicles, they have been extremely competitive. Surrounding dealers have a difficult time matching their price, if they do they attach many strings. I don't have time to haggle for 8 hours over a price.
The one time I bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee for the wife we haggled from 10am to finally getting out at 8pm. NEVER AGAIN.
