Cool Black Maxx+Dodge+Clutch= Free Spin

Put a Black Maxx in my O9. Works great, untill it went to wild and hot. 6th grear stepping on it the clutch wont hold and the engine free spinns. Lower power and no power no problem, So if I want to run the Black Maxx what clutches should I look at?? I pull a horse trailer some and a few other things this is my daily driver.

Let me know if you are coming so I can turn off the mine field and hang a new Sears Catalog in the guest outhouse

Yup DD3250 is the street dual disc. According to Peter at South Bend is the 3250 is the setup to have for heavy towing with a modified truck. It has great driving characteristics with a smooth engagement and decent pedal. It actually holds well enough that he told me they are dropping the 3600 from the lineup.

Mine is ordered. Gonna have my Dad get it to the shop for an install so I can play when I get in for Christmas

Thanks Top!

The dual disc 3250 is a GREAT work clutch because in essence you have TWICE the clamping force area to do the same work as a regular clutch. It is not quite as street friendly as a stock clutch but a stock clutch won't hold like it does either. A trade off that MOST guys don't have a problem with.
