Anyone cut their emissions crap off yet?

Havent posted in a while and am still saving for a truck (a lot of things are always coming up-and I dont even own a house).

Anyway, with the new models coming out soon and the 6.7's okay reviews I have thought that maybe I should get a 6.7.

Has anyone straight-piped one yet? Is there any negative affects to doing so? Can the dealer void warranty for doing this?

Yes it is very illegal to do this but there are guys doing it. It is much more involved then just putting a straight pipe in. It is not something we can discuss on this site though.

All I will say is that if you make it "off-road" ready with modifications to the systems, you can gain up to and over 5MPG !! THANKS EPA!! I have a good friend who is on the highway 24/7 with numbers close to 5 or greater increase. I know its all about PPM of emissions, but if we burn less fuel, isn't that less millions of parts? Anyway. Short answer yes, just don't talk about it on DTR..

We have gone around this bush before. Any discussion of defeating emmisions equipment is illeagal. Please keep it off the DTR.

Thanks
