6.7 update REGEN TSB 18-033-07

I had 2000 miles on my truck with no issues. I have not pulled with it either mainly just highway driving. I scheduled an appointment with the local dealer to have them put in the new update for the REGENERATION process of the DPF/CAT full issues....

The service manager was telling me without this update my truck would not ever go through the regeneration process.

So if you have a new 6.7 and EVEN WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS (Yet) you may consider going in and having them put the new revision in from DC which is from

TSB 18-033-07. This update took me from an AQ program to an AT. I have no clue what that means but I was trying to get some info to pass along to you guys from the service manager. This update also corrected five other issues to help along with the process.

Even though my truck was not having any problems the service manager advised me to get it done now then wait till later when their is a problem.

They also said that their is 37 trucks left on the lot that needs this update.

So if you are buying a new one you may want to ask if it has been updated and if not request them to check the TSB 18-033-07 and put that in your truck before you drive it off.

Also they added the IDLE UP FEATURE which will allow your truck to idle in the 1100 to 1500 RPM range when YOU CHOOSE. You just utilize the cruise control on/off button, set button, and decel button.. Real simple.

Hope this helps.....

i just stopped and talked to my service advisor today and he pulled the tsb himself and said any truck made after june 12 2007 will have the new tsb taken care. he then hooked up my truck and showed me in person. which i thought was cool since i am learning all about the dodges.
