6.7 and Bad Mileage. Any Help

I have an 07 6.7 with 25k on it and mileage rarely exceeds 13-14mpg. I have a juice attitude with monitor, aftermarket cat back exhaust and afe filter and 35x12.5 tires. I had and 06 and had not problem getting 18-20. Can anyone help me with this??

I get 15/17 mpg city/hwy on a bone stock 6.7L. With your mods, I'm not surprised your seeing lower mpg. I doubt you can do anything to increase your mileage, so just enjoy your truck and avoid looking at the spinning numbers on the fuel pump.

The mp8 helped my milage the best I was getting 18-19 but that was strait piped and derated. I put my stock exhaust back on and think it dropped me back down but I havent put enough miles on it yet to know for sure.

Smile fuel milage

I have a 2008 Mega 4X4 with only 700 miles on it, bone stock. My combined
milage is running 14-15 mpg hand calculated with the exception of one leg on
the road where I got 16.8. I really don't expect the milage to increase until I
get around 15 K. If if is anything like the two "Powerjokes" that I had before
I saw " the light", it should improve between 15 to 30K.....The handling, noise
level, exhaust brake, and "butter smooth" transmission make it a pleasure to
herd the "Big Goat" down the road!!!

I have 37" tires and I think the bigger they are the better you are for milage. The reason being with my 37s I can go 70 mph at 1800 rpms which is using less fuel and on diesel they can turn big tires with no problems. I think most people with stock tires are over 2000 rpms at 65 mph. Let me know if I am wrong. With the bigger tires its like having different gears, so you get better mpg.

Well I can see you have never had a truck that has been modded. The more hp you have the less throttle you have to use to achive the same results. My 05 was running 619hp and had no problem getting 15-17 around town all day long with my fat foot in it. Stock going down the fwy at 70mph it would run 12lbs of boost and with all the mods it would not even move till you hit 80mph then it went to 5lbs. More boost= less mpg. This 07 has not gotten over 13mpg on the hwy at 70mph and around town it has not been over 10.2mpg all is hand calculated.

6.7 mileage

I have a 07.5 bone stock auto with 3.73 rear end. At 65 mph I am turning 1650 rpns. My previous experience with oversize tires and wheels is that mileage will suffer a significent hit.

As an aside, my 2500 Laramie was built in Feb of 07, no flashes and no problems. (the sound you hear is me knocking on wood). I now have 10k miles, two oil changes with another due. I have towed a 8000lb ball trailer at least half of those miles and have only been aware of one regen during that time and that was while towing. My mileage has been 11 to 12 towing, 13 to 14 in town and 15 to 18 highway. I am very fond of this truck!

I've gone 149 miles and am almost at 1/2 a tank

haven't done any 100% highway trips but am I correct in assuming this truck isn't going to go 700 miles on a tank like the last one?

both had the exact same tires, I don't buy the tire size excuse, doesn't account for a 9MPG loss.
