Over 5,700 miles for me, and no problems, no reflashes. Mine tows great too! I have been debating about doing any flash updates. I picked up my truck in March of this year, and other than an optional, free oil change, I have never been back to my dealer.

?????????????? when we pay over 40,000 dollars for one of these trucks i expect that a percentage of that money is going to pay their engineers--research and development and ground testing.
they should be road worthy when the customer takes delivery. An occasional oversight is one thing but major engineering flaws are unacceptable ( IE: air conditioning in 06"s vp44 and lift pumps in the second generation's ect. 06 unfused trailer wiring)

Thats true but they always have flashes and updates. Just little things I really didnt meen the big problems that peoplo are having that is bull@$#%.
But we should expect some little things here and there. I disagree with people that say it is the lsd.

I have 17K on my personal truck (2500 6.7 with revision B flash) and NO PROBLEMS!!! (other than poor mileage!)

I have a 6.7 company truck Cab and chassis and it has 31K and is now in the shop for its 4th DPF!

Personally, I think that the majority of the problems are fuel related.

Change the Fuel filter EVERY 15K.For the $16.00 I'm doing mine every 2 oil change and the longest I go between changes is 5K

I am coming up on 3K and I must say that I do love my first diesel. I have had two problems. The first was the turbo had to be replaced at 500 miles, they think it was a bad bearing when it was built. The dealership took care of this promptly and had me back in the truck in 4 days. The longest part was waiting for the turbo to come (two days). The second was a check engine light at 2500 that cleared itself, so I guess you could say that it was not a problem. I LOVE the way this truck pulls my TT.

4200 miles here no problems, no flash or codes since recieved 06/01/07. Other than codes generated by me checking things over.
Also, I may have to adjust the valve train, at start-up the valve lash sounds excessive. After it comes up to temperature it does seem to quiet some. Will pop the cover and run a feeler guage over it this weekend.
Love the truck tons of power!

Running great!!! 7700 miles with oil changes at 2000 and 7000. No problems at all. Fuel mileage couild be a bit better, however it seems to be improving. Ran 400 miles this weekend at 70-75 mph and hand calced at slightly over 17. I had the opportunity to put a couple hundred miles on a friends Duramax while driving him on his antelope hunt. Only thing I would trade for is that allison tranny.

Make that x3..
My only complaint is downshifting from 2nd to 1st. At 10mph it clunks really bad and shakes the whole truck. If i stomp on the brakes and slow down faster it doesn't seem to do it.
