Zerostart block heater Cord

Does anyone know if this cord will plug into our block heater? I found one at a truck shop for $15, but didn't want to purchase it until I found out if it works.

Thanks,
Halfmoon

Don't know if it fits or not but the name doesn't inspire confidence .

Ask if they'll take it back if it doesn't fit.

you can get the cord from cummins and it is 12-15 out the door. for giggles, call your local *********** and ask them what they want for the thing. I was quoted $70!

I bought a whole zerostart kit from a local truck shop. It had the cord and an OLD block heater element with it. Gave $11 out the door. Used the cord and tossed the element.

My Dodge dealer wanted $86. NAPA has them for $26.

Well, I bought the zerostart cord and installed yesterday. Was told that zerostart makes the dodge cords. Found a place closer and paid $20 and some change. Buying the one for $15 from the other place would've been around the same if you include the fuel getting to the place. Not all that hard except deciding where to zip-tie the cord along the frame. Thought I would be able to go from under the pickup to install, but my arms are to dang short and the intake tube may have gotten in the way if I had went that route. Remove the intake to and presto!!!

Well slap my butt and call me Sally!!!

I just bought one of these myself!

I stopped at a Kenworth dealer who sells Cummins parts and picked up a heater cord. He said these cords were the same for most all trucks, and when I looked it was a Zerostart cord. I paid $14.

Haven't put it on yet. It's only zero outside anyway.
