If you don't mind me asking, what are those units worth these days? I personally wouldn't leave them dangle, maybe zip tie them to another bracket.

Ram Runner,I just removed the clips for the fog lamp harness and let stay in the bumper. Then clip the hooks for cover in the 3 holes.Won't hurt anything. Rob.

I bought my Mopar Cover a couple of months ago and put it on yesterday. This morning it was mid 20's and I was really impressed how quickly the engine temp rose @ 65 mph. I had all flaps closed and I was at 200. The in cab heat was great.

What's the optimal engine temp for efficiency? My work commute is ~ 5 miles, so I'm thinking of keeping all the flaps closed unless it's above 35-40 to keep in some heat for this short trip. Good idea, or should I open a flap or two?

I think you will be fine leaving them all closed in 35-40° weather.

My short commute (~8 miles) is why I plug my truck in even when it is only 40° outside. I want to make sure it is warm when I get there. Not for me but for the engine. I just wish I could plug 'er in AT work.
