got the old girl in long term layup.
changed tranny fluid, rearend fluid, oil.
new tires, new balljoints.
and diesel went back up
i pull it out once a week or two to cut back yard, (have teenage boys from church cut grass to teach them some work ethic) and that is worse, since it don't run long enough to replace the energy it took to crank it.
don't want to run two battery tenders under the hood, taht would be annoying to disconnect.
got two old optima red tops in it

Do you mean the cigarette lighter in the dash or the center console? Because the one in the dash will only charge the left battery, and it won't work with optima batteries.
just kidding. yes, it will charge both batteries just fine.

thanks was not sure how the battery isolator circuitry was set up in there.
gonna start driving to take my Yard Help home, at least get it up to temp, but that's always in dark, so still no real charge for batt;s
thanks guys.
